The
chemical peel is best described as an accelerated form of exfoliation
induced by chemical products. It is a highly effective and a very
popular method of rejuvinating the skin by removing the top layers
to reveal the new, fresh, younger cells underneath. Although there
are various types of peels available, the choice should be made
after a full skin consultation and will be dependent on patient
requirement and factors effecting this such as skin type, age and
skin thickness.
